Ahmad “Akiin” Thomas is a southern American writer whose work spans film, music, and journalism. Growing up in a black and Muslim household in his early life, he learned how to deal with complex social dynamics in the south. Fortunately, he learned discipline and creativity through the outdoors, martial arts, sports, and entertainment. As a filmmaker Ahmad has written & produced several short films across a variety of genres including thriller, comedy & a hip hop musical. Perhaps most impressively, Ahmad has taken his skills and talents internationally, having filmed 3 documentaries across the Brazilian Amazon, Rio de Janeiro, & other small communities in the country of Brazil. Ahmad believes that writers are the world’s first and greatest dreamers.

Today, Ahmad is a digital media specialist with expertise managing high volume social channels & producing quality short & long form content. His work & accomplishments include: producing podcasts with high profile talent, public speaking at an industry summit held at 1st Phorm HQ, producing photoshoots for an athletic apparel brand, & more!
